Courage is most needed while you are a part of the spiritual battle during every moment of the time that you are awake.
1Tim. 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
If you do not fight against Satan, you will fall to temptation. The courage to fight with God’s power against the enemy is given to God’s servants who are willing to be used by Him and to be obedient to Him.
The grace that Christ implants in the soul creates the enmity against Satan.
Without this converting power, many would continue the captive of Satan.
Grace is the favorable influence of the Spirit of God upon the heart, renewing the mind and restraining from sin.
“My Grace is sufficient for thee.” 2 Cor. 12:1
Act 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Are you willing to fight for the Lord? Say Yes to only those statements that are now a part of your life.
- __I am willing to talk in the right way no matter how others talk.
- __I am willing to warn other Christians about sins that they are committing.
- __I am willing to do what is right even when nobody else wants to.
- __I am ready and willing to witness to people whom I meet.
- __When others speak against Christianity, I am willing to openly admit to being a Christian.
- __When others complain about or slander an individual, I speak up and let them know that what they are saying is wrong.
- __I am willing to go against a group of friends who wants to do something that is wrong.
- __I am willing to boldly speak out when others are making fun of sin.
- __I am willing to fight against the temptation to complain and argue.
- __I am willing to fight against the temptation to be lazy.
- __I am willing to fight against the temptation to listen to ungodly music.
- __I am willing to fight against the temptation to watch or to look at ungodly things.
- __I am willing to fight against the temptation to cheat.
Courage is a result of God’s power in your life, but you must first have a willingness to be submissive to the authority of God’s Word. A disobedient Christian will not have the strength of God to fight against temptations. Set a specific goal for yourself that will show a willingness to be obedient to God; then trust the Lord to give you the strength that you need to meet your goal.
