A person who has patience is able to wait without complaint through problems and unsatisfied desires. A patient person is calmly submissive to Divine will, waiting to know and to do what the Lord has planned for him. Patience comes from the Lord when you keep your thoughts on Him and keep your life in His will. Is. 26:3 Long-suffering is also a form of patience.

Impatience often leads a person to say or to do things that are against God’s will. Those who patiently endure for Jesus Christ will receive His blessing.

Do you have patience? Are you cooperating with the Lord so that He is able to build patience into your life?

  1. I am patient while adults are talking; I am quiet and listen respectfully to what they are saying.
  2. I am patient while waiting for meals.
  3. I am patient while waiting for answers to prayer.
  4. I will be patient while waiting for the Lord to direct me to a marriage partner.
  5. I am patient while growing up by not trying to rush God’s plan for my life.
  6. I am patient while waiting for things that I need.
  7. I am patient while waiting to go places.
  8. I am patient with younger children.
  9. I am patient with my friends.
  10. I am patient with the growth of my body.

What do you need to do to become more patient? Set a goal for yourself to be patient in specific situations in which you now have trouble.
