A person who has little determination is one who gives up and turns back in the face of difficulties, danger, hardships, discouragement, or discomfort. God has no pleasure in your service for Him when you weakly give in to temptations and fleshly desires and turn back from what the Lord wants you to do.
Heb 10:38
Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.
Luk 9:62
And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
A person who has determination has habits of fulfilling God-given responsibilities no matter how he feels or what the difficulties are. He has a mind set on doing that which is God’s will for his daily life, and he lets nothing stop him as he works toward his goal of being the best servant of the Lord that he can be.
2Co 11:23 Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft.
2Co 11:24 Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one.
2Co 11:25 Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep;

All that the Lord asks you to do can be done with His help.
Php 4:13
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
A young person should be determined that he is going to accomplish all that God expects of him at his particular age.
Does your life show determination? Are you a fighter – fighting to accomplish the work that the Lord has set before you?
1Ti 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
1Co 9:26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:
1Co 9:27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

- __I am determined that as I get older I will keep my heart tender toward the things of God.
- __I am determined that I will be content through all the circumstances of my life.
- __I am determined that I will be content with what I am given or with what is not given to me.
- __I am determined to allow the Lord to use me to show His love to others. Gal. 5:22
